Our MSK (musculoskeletal) practitioner will take a full medical, medication, lifestyle & occupational history to determine whether any of these factors may cause or contribute to your presenting condition. This information is taken during a private consultation and stored on our secure database for your privacy & security.
There are three elements to a Footscan©. Firstly, we assess you standing to analyse your posture. We then assess your balance to determine proprioception and muscle strength. Finally we analyse your gait (walking / running) to get a detailed dynamic report of your lower limb mechanics.
One we have analysed the data, we can make a informed diagnosis and offer a treatment plan if necessary. Conditions caused by repetitive pressure and forces can be successfully treated by: modifying lifestyle, sport &, footwear. Strengthening & stretching exercises, orthoses (prescription insoles), shockwave and laser therapy.
We aim to provide professional, affordable foot care at all times. Our treatment fees therefore reflect the high standard of care we provide.
