Hi. I'm Charlie, the newest member of the team at Kenilworth Footcare. Although I have only worked for a month at the clinic on Fridays and Saturdays, I am already feeling very at home here.

I have known I would like to work at "KFC" since I started my Podiatry Degree at Northampton University in 2021 (aged 52!) when I first met the owner, Kate and other members of her team through a previous work colleague, Lara Cartwright (some of you may remember Lara!). I liked the relaxed, professional, family feel of the clinic and enjoyed chatting with the then "incumbents", Sam and Mitesh as they treated patients and talked about their own training. The Podiatry Degree is an intense experience, but there is nothing like talking to people in the profession to get ideas of where you want to go next..

So far, I have been made to feel thoroughly welcome by my colleagues as you, the patients who visit the clinic regularly or as and when you need to. You put a lot of trust is us to keep your best interests at heart and consider the holistic big picture as well as your specific concern when treating your feet. As much as I have loved to listen about, observe and treat physical conditions, I have enjoyed learning about people's lives...their farms, gardens, families, engineering job, love of theatre, travels, dancing classes.........as well as their ups and their downs.

Over the next few months I hope to be expanding the range of treatments I can offer for treating nail and skin conditions, as well as muscle and joint conditions that can affect our enjoyment of walking and being active. As I said above, I work Fridays and Saturdays, so please feel free to book in with me either on-line or by calling the clinic.
