FOOTNOTES BLOG
When Warrior Grips were designed and tested, Samuel realised that his product also has uses outside of the Dojo. Hence, he introduced the socks to yogis, weight lifters, rugby players, cyclists, walkers, and runners.
"The feedback has been amazing, and people seemed really happy with the product, so I took a bit of a leap and moved into the manufacturing stage", explained Samuel.
The critical feature of Warrior Grips socks is their gripper formation, which Samuel calls the "Shield Wall". The grips have been designed to provide support, traction and stability when wearing just the socks or the socks inside shoes or boots (the foot-shoe interface).
The socks also have extra material built into the midfoot and the ankle to offer compression, support and comfort. They are designed with moisture-wicking fabrics to help prevent sweating and the foot slipping inside the socks.
Samuel also developed Warrior Grips to help prevent people who usually train barefoot from catching bacterial infections like Staph, fungal infections like Athlete's foot (tinea pedis) or ringworm (Tinea Corporis) and viral infections like Verrucae. If you develop any skin changes, irritations or lesions on your feet or lower legs, book an appointment to see a podiatrist for diagnosis, advice, and management.
